Application Process

The application process does not have to be linear.

At Devon Preparatory School, there is no single starting point.

Families often ask, “What should we do first?” The answer is simple: start wherever you are comfortable.

You may:

All three pathways help you learn more about Devon Prep, and none of them lock you into a rigid sequence.

Inquire & Apply

We encourage families to begin by submitting an Inquiry through our website. When you open an Inquiry, our Admission Office can:

  • Personally reach out to you
  • Share upcoming event opportunities
  • Help schedule tours and meetings
  • Guide you through next steps

An application does not need to be completed before attending most events. In many cases, it only needs to be submitted.

Ready to Get Started?

Start by getting to know us- and letting us get to know you. Submit an inquiry and connect with our admissions team to learn more about life at Devon Prep.

Attend an Admissions event

We offer multiple ways for families to experience Devon Prep:

Our events, other than student visit days, are specifically designed for parents, though students are welcome at Q&As and Admission Meetings.

Student Visit Day is required for applicants. To schedule a Student Visit Day, an Inquiry must be submitted.

Our team will work with you to schedule visits in a way that fits your timeline.

Register for an Entrance Exam

Devon primarily uses the HSPT for 9th grade admission. We also accept the ISEE.

Devon uses the EDS or the ISEE, for admission to any middle school grade.

All High school required testing materials must be received by November 15th, our application deadline.

All Middle school required testing materials must be received by January 10th, our application deadline.

A Process Built Around You

Our goal is simple: to help you learn who we are, what we do, and whether Devon Prep is the right fit for your son.

We understand that every family’s journey looks different. That is why our process is flexible, guided, and personal from the very first conversation.
